Tours tariffs and Opening days :
Every day from June the 15th through September the 15th between 2 pm and 7 pm. Out-of-season visitors must make prior arrangements.Group visits are available by appointment only from Easter through November the 1st.
Tarifs :
- Visit of the chateau : Adult 5 Euros. Children : 2,50 Euros. Group : 4 Euros.- Visit (chateau + miniatur automobile museum) : Adult 7 Euros. Child : 3,50 Euros.
Description :
This chateau is flanked by two rounds towers topped by pepper-pot roofs, and a square tower that served as a keep and to which, in the 18 century, a second building was attached : a watch-path runs around the top.
Grand stair-case made of volcanic stone.
The Hall of Justice decorated with walls murals dating from the 15th and 16th centuries.
Troubadour Room, tastefully appointed (fine panelling, canopied bed with barleytwist columns, coffered ceiling).
The 18th century dining room has lovely tapestries, items of Delftware and a huge sideboard. Here the living room.
The chapel, supported by ribbed vaulting, displays murals that represent Angels carrying the instruments of Passion.
The Museum of Miniatur cars : you can admire a collection of 3000 model cars depicting the history of the automobile, and ancient toys.
