Château de la Bussière
Remarkable example of the 17th French architecture, the Château de La Bussière sits in the middle of a 6 ha lake within a Le Nôtre designed park.
You will be able to walk in the family's kitchen garden which has been painstakingly restored since 1992.
It is surrounded by walls and is looked after by the enthusiastic owners who grow a large collection of fruits, vegetables and herbs in heat squares edged by boxwood.
A longer walk will take you alongside the lake in the shade of majestically tall trees (limes, cedars, copper beeches) framing the reflection of the castle in the waters.
