The Chateau of Lésigny was built in 1508, on the ruins of a medieval chateau by Louis de Poncher. The successive owners were closely associated to the French History. The Chateau had the honor to welcome the visits of two queens of France : Catherine de Médicis remains with the castle in 1573 and Marie de Médicis, in 1613. Louis XIII, still teenager, also made there many stays between 1617 and 1623.
