Château de Fléville
A high keep, which is 30 meters high, dominates the monument: built towards 1320 and rescued by Richelieu, at King Louis XIII's request. It gives evidence of the age of the place. The building dates from the Renaissance and was finished in 1533, it symbolizes the architectural art of the first Renaissance in France, that of the Château de la Loire. A large balcony 35 meters long ornamentes all the frontage, some beautiful attic windows crown the frontage. The harmony of the frontage makes of it one of the most beautiful castles in Lorraine. Inside, the large room of the Estates of Lorraine tells the history of the Dukes of Lorraine, then the room known as Stanislas' and many other rooms where you can see the intimate life of a family which lives there since 190 years. The castle and the park all are listed among the Historic buildings. It is located at 10 km in the south of Nancy and it is very easy to access to the castle.
