Prieuré de Sainte-Gauburge - Ecomusée du Perche
The priory of St Gauburge is the origin of this well preserved hamlet where, the dwelling are grouped around this edifice of the 13th, 15th and 18th centuries.

The church and its sculped decoration, the priory house with its decorated fireplace which tells a biblical story.
The spiral stairecase decorated with sculptures and the arched rooms where the monks lived and the orchard with its traditional varieties of fruit trees.
You can finish at the farm courtyard and its traditional vegetable garden.
The vocation of the Folk Museum found in this remarkable situation of the old priory is to pass on and safeguard the rural heritage of the Perche. It shows us ethnic view of the percheron region from 19th century to 1960's.
Moreover, all year long the museum offers the temporary exhibition, the different activities, workshops, courses and conferences.
