Peaceful nights Villa Saunières is far away from noisy roads, so you will enjoy peaceful nights. The bedrooms: Villa Saunières features 6 bedrooms for 2 persons and a baby bedroom. 3 bedrooms have a queen size bed of 180cmx200cm and 3 bedrooms have 2 single beds (which can be transformed in a queen size bed on request) of 90x200cm. One bedroom is on the groundfloor, 3 bedrooms are on the first floor as well as the baby bedroom, and 2 bedrooms are on the last floor. The groundfloor bedroom and one bedroom of the first floor are equipped with HD TV, Blue-ray DVD player and satellite channels receiver. The beds are made up for your arrival.Two foldable baby beds are available in the Villa.

Villa Saunières' lounge The lounge and the dining room have a fireplace both dating back to the 19th century. An electric fireplace system is the living room fireplace, which will enable you to make the most of evenings around the fire with family or friends, without the trouble to have to carry wood and start the fire... The dining room has an open fire place for which we supply wood. You will appreciate the relaxing decor and comfort of the lounge with its "Chesterfield type" sofas. The decorated ceiling “à la française†and the ancient tiles add a touch of authenticity. Big screen high definition television with satellite channels, a blue-ray DVD player plus a Playstation 3 will ensure evenings full of entertainment.

Villa Saunières' dining room The dining room, with its french style ceiling, ancient tiles and superb fireplace is decorated in a "hunting villa style". The dining table can seat up to 12 people. The glasses, crockery and cutlery, carefully selected by Sylvia, are at your disposal in the sideboard.

The Kitchen The villa Saunieres' kitchen is fully equipped including: an oven, a microwave oven, a hob with 4 rings plus extractor fan, a dishwasher, a large refrigerator with freezer, an extra small refrigerator, an electric coffee maker, a toaster and an electric kettle. The kitchen has a door opening directly on the swimming-pool terrace and barbecue area. A full range of kitchen equipment, utensils and accessories is provided as well as tea towels. An assortment of herbs, spices and condiments are at your disposal. Dishwasher and washing machine products are supplied.2 high chairs are available.

Villa Saunière swimming pool The swimming pool The pool, which is 5x10m, is heated and the water is treated with salt. It is open from 1st April until 30th October. An automatic cover is there for the safety of the little ones and helps maintain the water temperature when the pool is not in use. The shallow end is 1 meter deep and goes down to around 1.90m. Spend hot afternoons lazing around the pool on one of the sunloungers while the garden table and chairs allow you to have lunch by the pool or dine outside on balmy summer evenings. Our maintenance staff will call by several times during your stay to ensure the upkeep of the pool and the terrace.

Fitness room : Leisure and Fitness house A small house located just next to the villa is totally dedicated to your indoor leisures and wellness. You will find on the first floor a fitness room equipped with two types of exercice bikes, rowing machine and weights. There is also a leisure corner with a table football and sofas. On the ground floor there is a sauna and a steamroom with a capacity of 5 to 6 persons each. Bathroom with shower and separated wc. The washing machine and dryer of the Villa are located in the leisure house. Board Games A host of board games, in French, are available in the lounge : Scrabble, Monopoly, chess, draughts, card games etc... Television The villa is equiped with 5 HD TV sets, blu ray DVD players and sattelite channels recievers : There is also a Play-station 3 with 20 games in the leisure house.

Fishing permits can be bought in the local town of Verdun sur le Doubs at the fishing equipment shop Boat "Slope" A slope going into the river is available just in front of our Villa. It is free of charge. You can use it to unload your boat into the river. We also have a "barn" next to our Villa where you can sto
