Tours tariffs and Opening days :

From the 1st of March to the 11st of November : Museum open every day from 11 am to 6 pm. Park open every day from 10 am to 6 pm.
From the 12nd of November to the 28th of Februar : Museum open on sundays and free days, from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Park open every day from 10 am to 6 pm.

Tarifs :

Free for children less than 5 years old.
- Park and museum : individuals 7 Euros ; groups, students 5 Euros ; scholar groups 3,50 Euros.
- Park : adults 3 Euros ; groups, students, scholar groups 2 Euros.
Perfums workshop : plus 2 Euros.

Description :

Field of Chaalis is a witness of the life of Nélie Jacquemart-André, who owned it from 1902 to 1912 before bequeathing it to the Institut de France. And her life was passions : painting, discovering, choosing and collecting unique pieces.

In the vast chateau, witch was a wing of the cloister projected in the 18th century by the great architect Jean Aubert, are gathered pieces of furniture, paintings and antic pieces.



At the first floor, the gallery furnished with gothic trunks as well as busts made by Gagini, Coysevox, Pajou, etc.
It has an access the banquetery rooms.

Library

from "Renaissance". It opens on antics monk rooms witch had turn into larger rooms and private suites. Each one is furnished with "modern" furniture (18th century and Empire styles) that evoke ostentation of the past. Tapestries and woods collections from Sainte-Lucie care completing this rich collection of arts.


At the last floor of the honor stairs decorated with a painting and a tapestry called « millefleurs » from Bruxelles, you have access to Mrs André's private apartment, witch testify of her rich and original taste.
