Château d'Ivoy-le-Pré
The Château of Ivoy nestling in the middle of the woodland, has in the past sheltered many secret stories around French and Scottish old families.
Mary Stuart's purser and treasurer resided here and King of France, Henry IV sojourned there in 1606, enjoying hunting.
In the 18th century, it became the seat of General Hector Drummond Lord of Melfort until the French Revolution.
The Scottish influence is very much obvious within the chateau's atmosphere and you will love to stay there yourself for a short working session, a family relaxing stay or a shooting party with friends.
