Château de Louppy sur Loison
This castle of the 17th century was built for Simon II of Pouilly, military governor of Steany, on behalf of the Duchy of Lorraine. During last wars, the castle suffered from many degradations. At the time of the First World War, it was first of all the object of an organized plundering of the German army. At the time of the second world war, Louppy was occupied and was used as prison camps. The architectural interest of Louppy resides primarily in its gates and porches carved with much imagination (gate of the stables, input of the castle, dovecote, etc).
