Château de Montrésor
It's an alliance of art and of force, power and of elegance : The fortress was built by Foulques Nerra during the 11th century and the chateau by the famous advisor of Kings, Imbert of Bastarnay, in 1483 : In 1849, it charmed a Polish Lord who restored and endowed it with a magnificent collection of works of art, Renaissance paintings, silver and gold plate, bas-reliefs by Pierre Vaneau... That we can admire today.
