Dun-sur-Auron
Once the third largest city in the Berry province, this pleasant town has preserved many reminders of its illustrious past : a lofty belfry with a treasure room, ramparts dating back to the time of King Philippe Auguste, and a medieval quarter with picturesque streets that meander down to the old Berry Canal. The interactive Canal Museum and walnut specialities are other attractions to be found here.
