Château de Serrant
Most western of the famous Loire Valley Castles, Serrant is noted for it's architectural unity. Serrant has always been lived in and fully furnished since the 17th century. Because of its impressive display of furniture, tapestries, paintings and other artifacts, Serrant is one of the best furnished castles of France.
One can visit the Duke's library and its 12000 books, the beautiful vaulted halls where the kitchens lay, Napoleon's bedroom, the chapel designed by Hardoin Mansard and may other marvels.
