Centre Historique de Surgères
In Sugrères have a view of the medieval city walls (elipse of 600 m circumference), roman church of Notre Dame de Surgères, Renaissance door next to the city hall, the only tower of the castel named Helène tower to pay hommage to Helène de Fonsèque, muse of Ronsard, who written "Sonnet pour Hélène" in french litterature. Walk along the river in the beautiful park.
